The system consists of an initial module (IM) connected to the serial port which handles up to 64 I/O, allowing the
creation of islands with up to 32bistable valve positions (60 monostable positions with customised versions).
A local fieldbus (Cam.I.Net) allows you to transfer unused signals from the Initial Module (IM) to the Expansion
Module (EM).
- Can be equipped with solenoid valves in size 1, 2 or combinations
- Possible creation of areas with differentiated pressure/exhaust
- Electrical and pneumatic connections on the same side
- Bus-In/Bus-Out system for fieldbus connection
- Rotary switch routing
- LED indication of island working state
- Double electrical supplies (one for control logic and one for power)
- Internal connections on circuit boards with plug-in
connectors to facilitate any modifications/maintenance
- Integration of electrical modules with different characteristics (2xM12 DUO or Sub-D 37 poles from 8 to 32
outlets)
- Connection between the various modules is possible with a pre-wired 5-pole cable in different lengths
- The use of and expansion module instead of an initial module cuts costs
- The EM speeds up cabling (a dedicated power supply or direct serial connection are not required)
- The EM uses less powerful logic control and so is cheaper
