The system consists of an initial module (IM) connected to the fieldbus which can handle up to 32 outlets and 48
inlets.
A local fieldbus (Cam.I.Net) transfers the unused outlets from the IM onto the expansion modules (EM) and the 48
available inlets onto the specific ME-1600-DL modules.
The expansions can have 2, 4 or 8 valve positions.
The inlet module allows for 16 electrical input signals via 8
M12 DUO 5 pole connections.
To optimise the combination between the number of solenoid valves and the number of electrical signals, a circuit
has been made which checks for the presence and status of the coils.
The advantage is that two electrical signals do not have to be used per position, but only the ones really needed.
